Touch is the core of Shiatsu.
Being touched is a fundamental need, rooted deep inside us and embodies quality in our lives.
We all know times of stuckness where physical and emotional problems manifest themselves. We loose the connection to parts of ourselves, feel disharmonised.
Shiatsu helps to open the body and mind and supports you in your development.
I will listen to your body and will help you getting in contact with your inner ressources.
I am a qualified Shiatsu practitioner since 2012 and qualified Well Mother practitioner. I love the integration of moving Elements and sound healing in my bodywork.
"It´s a bliss to see clients connecting to their bodies in a new way and get an overall relief in this awareness."

Justine received Shiatsu at her first birth back in 1997 and was blown away at how effective it was. She was on a mission for every women to receive Shiatsu in their pregnancy and labour. She first met Suzanne in 2002 and started to do the Well Mother training while continuing to support women through Shiatsu.
In 2007 Justine taught her first module with Suzanne in Brighton and continued to teach 'Shiatsu for Midwives & Doulas' both in a hospital and retreat setting. In 2009 she started to train as a Pilates teacher and by 2011 was incorporating her knowledge of Pilates into her pre and post natal Shiatsu sessions.
In 2013, Justine and her family moved to Toronto, where along with teaching Pilates, she taught Shiatsu pregnancy couples workshops, attended a few births and taught Doulas 'Shiatsu for labour'. She has specialised in pelvic floor health and currently runs workshops on the Hypopressive method. Justine has recently moved back to East Sussex and plans to continue her teaching both in the UK and Canada.

I offer Holistic Therapies for women from my own clinic or from the comfort of your own home, in and around Herefordshire. I aim to create a safe secure environment where women can destress, relax and remember who they are. My pregnancy massage, as with all my treatments consists of a confidential consultation, breathing techniques, stretches, exercises and a wonderful treatment using warm organic oils from local company Silvan skincare.

Why Mobile Massage Therapy? We know that finding time for yourself can be difficult, which is why we come to you. I am both a massage therapist and a Traditional Chinese Medicine acupuncturist working in Glasgow, Southside. I have a special interest in women's health as well as acute and chronic pain. I can combine pregnancy massage with acupuncture to achieve the ultimate relaxation and individual treatment for your priorities and pregnancy needs. I can also use acupressure points (acupuncture without the needles) during your pregnancy massage treatment. I hold a remedial and sports massage qualification and some of these techniques can be used as appropriate.
I offer pregnancy massage for any stage of pregnancy. I use massage and / or acupressure from 36 weeks pregnant to help you to prepare for labour. This involves acupressure / acupuncture points on mainly your legs. The majority of my clients find that having weekly treatments helps reduce the likelihood of being induced. This treatment supports cervix ripening (early stages of dilation). Treatment sessions to teach your partner how to massage you are available. During these sessions, I will teach your partner relevant acupressure for labour preparation and for labour. A booklet with all the points taught is also provided.
If you do go past your due date, we can use a combination of massage and acupuncture to support you starting labour. Again I can teach your partner which acupressure points to use at home to support your labour.
At your appointment I will discuss your priorities, any health issues and check that you are happy with the treatment I have planned. Treatments can be adjusted to suit you. I have a Belloost pregnancy pillow for you to lie on when massaging your back and shoulders. It has a centre section cut away so that your belly is not squashed. Pregnant clients have commented on how comfortable this pillow is. Of course if you would prefer to lie on your side then that is good too.
Treatments are also available post pregnancy. Ask me about the healing and relaxing mother roasting with moxibustion.
I am MSc (Distinction) educated, holding an Acupuncture Diploma from Middlesex University. My thesis on acupuncture and endometriosis was awarded the prize for best dissertation in my year.
I am a member of the British Acupuncture Council (BAcC), The British Medical Acupuncture Society (BMAS) and The Complementary Therapists Association (CThA). I am fully insured and my acupuncture clinic is licensed by Glasgow City Council.
If you have any questions about treatments with me, please get in touch. I offer a free 15 minutes, no obligation discovery call
