Musicoterapista, ho vissuto vari anni in Spagna ed ho poi studiato Remedial Massage in Australia.
La salute delle donne è molto importante per me e credo che la gravidanza sia uno dei momenti più importanti nella vita di una donna, di una coppia o di una famiglia. Lavoro con la manipolazione fisica, visualizzazioni e lavoro energetico. La musica per me è imprescindibile e durante le mie sessioni utilizzo suoni della voce, vibrazioni e musiche per creare un vincolo molto forte tra la madre ed il bimbo, usando i principi del Canto Prenatale di cui sono mediatrice.

I have been practicing shiatsu since 1997, and completed Wellmother training in 2001. I work with a wide variety of clients as well as specialising in maternity work. I work with women throughout pregnancy, birth and in the postnatal period. I have expertise in working with women who have had difficult birth experiences.

I work in Chorlton and Manchester city centre.

I also teach shiatsu, with the Shiatsu College and independently, and I also offer small group or individual training.

I have been a holistic and beauty therapist for nearly 15 years. And I love it still! I started by completing my holistic diploma, then moved on to my beauty NVQ, collecting other treatments and skills along the way. Thai massage in Chiang Mai, Thailand was particularly amazing and I am also a specialist in pregnancy massage, training first within the spa where I worked and then on to complete the prestigious Well Mother qualification with Suzanne. I have been fortunate to work in some exceptional spas including Space NK, The Dorchester and Groom based in Selfridges, London.

I have had 2 babies over the last 5 years and having them has certainly enriched my soul and my understanding of the human body, how it works and just how strong it can be, even in stages of healing or ill health. I now work from a treatment room within my home and I see a variety of clients who visit me for specialist massage, pregnancy/post natal massage and essential beauty treatments. Having the freedom to work for myself and provide clients with beautiful treatments in a truly relaxing space is very important to me. My clients benefit from my time and my understanding which enables me to then make their appointment personal and bespoke.

Massage therapy is a very personal treatment to receive especially when you are pregnant. My approach to pregnancy massage is to help guide you into deep relaxation, this invites you to go inwards and connect with your body and most importantly your baby. I believe a massage throughout pregnancy should be an experience into self and leave you feeling reconnected, nurtured and supported physically and emotionally. I use skilled techniques to sensitively release tension, aches and pains, I also provide appropriate aftercare advice where needed.
I have had amazing feedback from my clients in my case studies and I am passionate about providing pregnancy massage going forward.

I'm Ann Ball and I run guru holistic therapies in Durham offering a wide range of complementary therapies. Having attended the Wellmother pregnancy and post natal courses in Bristol,  I use my  skills within my busy practice.

I have a sister company love bump baby which is all about fertility issues, pregnancy and postnatal.

I specialise in working with fertility using fertility reflexology, reproductive reflexology, fertility massage and hypnotherapy. For pregnancy, I am well known in the North East for my pregnancy massage available in all trimesters, reflexology throughout the pregnancy and maternity reflexology. I offer mother blessings and am an inactive doula but use the skills to enhance my hypnobirthing classes.

I offer postnatal massage and closing the bones ritual as well as 3 step rewind which is a hypnotherapy technique to help with traumatic birth experiences.
